One day when every little thing seemed so clear
Darkness falls upon us once again
No one knows how to face this endless fear
That runs up your spine and crawls into your brain
This is not how i see my life
We have reached the end of the line
Now the tears of sadness turn to blood
And all i can see, the human race is falling down
They fall beside me choking death
And i'm the only one left around
This is not how i see my life
We have reached the end of the line
It's not our time
It's over
As the black clouds now descend
Poison spreads through their veins
Will this suffering ever end
Will we survive or will nothing remain
This is not how i see my life
We have reached the end of the line
It's not our time
It's over
As the black clouds now descend
Poison spreads through their veins
Dose this suffering ever end
Will we survive or will nothing remain

Lyrics By Bader Nana

The Long Island metal band's third album etches arena-sized hooks into their jagged compositions, deftly balancing experimental and poppy inclinations. Bandcamp Album of the Day May 12, 2022
Billed as the masters of symphonic prog this album is an interesting of styles and influences. Folky in parts, rocky in others.
Vocals are good and male for a change. Both lyrics and music are involving and all in all this album is a good listen.
I will be looking at The Gift's other offerings. Russell Whyman
