Dinner’s on the table seven pm sharp
Daddy yells to me as i am running out
The bus is waiting and they’ve saved a seat for me
I sure am glad i woke up from that crazy dream
I thought i was a goner
but I’m strong
I thought that it was over
But its not
I thought that i was never
Coming back
Thank the stars that i have
Just this ordinary life
Daddy’s got to run to start his brand new job
Promoted from spaceman to ambassador to the stars
A perfect life is all that we could ever ask for
and our hearts no longer weighing down anymore
I thought i was a goner
but I’m strong
I thought that it was over
But its not
I thought that i was never
Coming back
Thank the stars that i have
Just this ordinary life

BBT are standard bearers for modern prog, with a sound that evokes the spirit of those legendary 70s bands whilst managing to also be thoroughly contemporary. It's astonishing that over 30 minutes of music of this quality, with such high production values, is being made available for free - and their full albums are also very reasonably priced... Very good prog-rock—the 2nd offering of Phideaux’s grand, conceptual trilogy. It is well produced and has a smooth, enjoyable flow that’s easy on the ears—a very pleasant listen. Highly recommended. Both male and female vocals are done well. Instrumentation is creative and interesting. 8.5+/10. Alrihkh
The Long Island metal band's third album etches arena-sized hooks into their jagged compositions, deftly balancing experimental and poppy inclinations. Bandcamp Album of the Day May 12, 2022
Fantasy progressive rock is not something I'd ever thought of. Yet Foreign Land, especially the Foreign Land track itself, transported me straight into an unknown, magical fantasy world. Hakim Zulkufli
